Does anyone want to do an apron swap? I thought I would take names and assign partners. You can either make or buy the apron. I am planning on sign ups till Nov 15 then assign partners The end of Nov. We will mail out packages by the end of Jan. Let me know what you all think. Hugs, Elizabeth |

what do you mean by a full apron? one that looks like a dress with bib and skirt part?

well, Tina there is a difference between a dress covering apron and a bib apron? dress covers are considerably more work, in my opinion, but are so very pretty (the one I wear the majority of the time is a dress cover...am making one for Nancy Jo-finally stitching it tonight!)
I would be game for a bib or a dress cover...

I definitely want in!!! I've been making aprons for new brides in my community and could use the extra practice.
Best,

Hello, Ladies. After finishing the first Helen apron, I definitely want to make more. I would love to participate in the apron exchange. I actually went up to check my stash already and found a really pretty deeper leaf green with red roses on it. I had bought them at a quilt store a year ago and was waiting for the perfect project to show off the print. I just need to locate a coordinating red for the bias trim. Does the Helen qualify as full coverage apron? Otherwise, I have a really nice Simplicity pattern that covers up like a dress.

I hope it qualifies..since the pattern I like to use alot is that type too. (1940's apron from the Calico Cat)

Any apron pattrn you want to use is fine as long as it isn't an half tie on apron unless that is what your partner wants. Another thing please check with your partner about her size. Hugs, Elizabeth |

Jenny -- I have the 1941 pattern that I've never made. I also have the Helen pattern from MJF. Can't wait to use one of these for this. This is going to be so much fun!

THats the one I use for me...the 1941 (plus size) but I use the 1940 for smaller ones for others. ILOVE those patterns. I plan to get the Helen pattern for sure..I love that it looks so adjustable!!

Good Morning All...I have been off for awhile, not feeling up to par....But look forward to these wonderful chats and exchanges....I was at fabric store and could not find a decent apron pattern any place...I like the idea of Jennys 1941 apron (plus) size...where can I get one like that pattern?? Oh, can I join up also for apron exchange? By January I could have one done....thanks.

Aunt Jenny -- I just went online and ordered the 1940 pattern so I could have some smaller sizes. I had forgotten about The Calico Cat. Thanks for the reminder.
