My sister just said this happened to her last time she was here. So I guess I have a peeping tom buck. Likes to look in on the ladies apparently. He was awfully quiet too. We've had the cats climbing the screens too.

So funny. The first queen of my herd used to open the back screen door and walk in the house. She'd just go from room to room looking for everyone. I loved it, my hubby hated it...although he laughs about it now.

Teri, that was my great grandmother's wheel. Very old. It needs some new spindles. I've not used it yet. But I would love to. One day.

Catherine, that would be funny to look up and see a goat in the house. Wouldn't want to have to clean up after it though.

Kristin, I agree---wouldn't want to clean up after her. But, for whatever reason, she never pooped or pee'd in the house! One time a couple of chickens followed her in. No one even heard them come in. I just walked into the living room and there was a goat and two chickens standing next to the sofa and simply looking at me. Animals are so funny.

Oh no! Not chickens. I don't know if I could handle that. Although one night several years ago, I heard a loud crash in the living room. I got up to see what happened and soon found out. My white guinea had gotten spooked and flew in to the window and broke it and landed in the living room. Scared me so bad! He was a little stunned but ok. Still don't know what he was running from that late at night, silly bird.

I once came home and found 5 goats in my house. They had gotten the front door open. The mattress was pushed halfway off the bed. The silly things had been in there jumping on the bed. Other than that the house was ok except for 1 houseplant which gave one of them diahrea later in the day. Goats have a way of taking us through the full range of emotions.

Linda, I have learned to keep my camera in my pocket for shots like this. Otherwise, I'd miss them for sure.

Laura, I bet that was fun for them! Except the one that got sick.

Kris, I was, and will say, keep your camera handy. That is a priceless picture. I think you may have surprised him because his ears are back! So funny. I love that picture, Kris.

Marly, that's so funny because he has no ears! He's a Lamancha. He always looks surprised. Do you have a picture of a snake on your new post? If you do, I cannot look. What's it about? I am so afraid of snakes I can't even look at a picture of them.

Terri, have you never seen a Lamancha goat before? They are amazing animals and very unique. I love them.

Thank you so much, Laurie. Did you see my bad baby blog post? Those 2 girls sure keep me busy. They're a mess.

I have never had a goat, but one of my milk cows would come around on the hill behind the house, look in the window, and bawl. My granddaughter would say, Grandma, your cow wants you. Some animals get just as attached to us as we do to them.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Kennie Lyn, I don't know what makes me laugh more.....the cow looking in your window and bawling or your granddaughter telling you your cow wants you. Lol. Too cute!

Kristin, If you haven't looked at Marly's picture yet, you should! Very neat picture!
