Hi girls I just had to say I also have been
to Ireland with my sister! It was so amazing
I still think about the wonderful memories we
made there. It truly is a lovely country and
yes Killarney was magical truly! My sister
drove the country side from one end of Ireland'
to the other NO I could not drive on the other
side of the road I could barley drive on the Right
side HAHA! I really was blessed to have gone with her.
I since have moved some distance from my sister and it's
the memories that I hold in my HEART.
Hugs,
Roe

Roe, It just something that stays in your Heart when you leave Ireland, I cannot explain it!! Days when I am in so much pain,I get a cup of tea, and close my eyes and remember looking down the Ring of Kerry, and it brings such a peace, and the sheep grazing down the hillsides.

These 2 pics were taken in Killarney Park, where the movie, Far and Away was filmed, with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kiddman. We went on a jaunty ride thru the park. The local people take their morning walks there and they all waved at us! I probably will never get to go back, but like Roe, It is embedded in my heart!

My husband's family name was originally O'Doud - so this is right up my alley. Just let me know what information you need. Sounds like a lot of fun and great way to meet my new "sisters".

Thanks for hosting.
