Hi Marlene, Received my smash journal today and love it!!! Not only did you do an outstanding job on the journal your attached bookmarks and a small calendar on the binder!! How cleveR!! I love my Russel Stover candy and the glue stick will be put to good use. i am working on yours and will mail it out by the end of next week. Thanks for being my partner and again, I love my journal....I love the peacock stickers!! So pretty!! Thank you again!! Smiles, Beth

Oh my gosh you really outdid your self on my smash book Journal. It is so pretty and you put so much work into it and I like the idea of a binder so you can add more pages. Thanks for the extra tucks too. I love it so much. I will try to post. Yay it worked! At the bottom.
The outside is a really nice quilted cover.

Did anyone take pictures? I'm dying to see all of these journals/smash books! I wanted so badly to join the swap, but with how much I putz around, I didn't know if I'd get it done on time! Would love to see what you girls came up with!

Darlene, YAY! I am so glad you received your book and that you like it! I have made smashbooks and sewed the binding on the spine, but it seems more user friendly if it is in a binder. You can change out the pages and start over later on. Enjoy!

diane-darlene---are the pages made of paper or fabric? can't tell from the photo?
sure hoping to see other pics soon!
i have been journalling for years and stuffing "things" in the pages "for later"--never knew of smash books!
didn't sign up for this as my follow thru has been very poor but always enjoy looking at all of the creativity!

The pages are of different variations :) I printed some things on glossy photo paper, some are printed on copy paper, and some pages I used Misty-Fuse and iron on fabric to the back of copy paper. I also added a section of graph lined vellum sheets.
A mis-mash of pages ..haha.

Oh my Madeline (Fille de Ferme)I received mine today and I love it to pieces. It's a vintage clutch repurposed into a journal with lots of wonderful tuck-ins. I never would have thought of that in a million years, you're so clever! Your hand written note is so special. Thank you very much, I love it. I really enjoyed the chocolates while working on your book today :-)
