This year, and in no way is this a "resolution" due to the time of year, I am re-evaluating my overall time.
I am really re-evaluating my on-line time this month. I do write a blog, but in the beginning it was merely for writing purposes. Now, it has turned into a frugal sharing place where we strive to be more self-sufficient and hope to help others, and follow other blogs to learn more.
But...I spend too much time on here. Needless to say, I have a lot to evaluate this month.

I love your blog, but I do understand how much time it must take! Maybe you need to set some boundaries for yourself so you can enjoy it as much as we do.

I agree.
I have to decide on if we are going to do the Farmer's Market this year too.
To do it, I have to buy a brand new easy-up tent. Then....the cost to rent space is going up $2.50 per day we are there, and our prices are not raised. It's hard to charge more than $4.00 for a half-pint of jam, and I barely make over $1.00/jar after gas is figured into it. They also reduced the amount of days they are having it this year.
Just a lot of evaluating....plus I may be feeding a horse here soon. Not sure yet.

Kristina, that's a lot you have going on. It is difficult to make the decision(s) to cut out things or even to just re-arrange things. Plus, sometimes you have to re-evaluate again and again. It can seem like there is no 'normal' anymore.
I know you don't want to, but you may have to raise your prices....you deserve to make a profit for your work and time. Selling jams for $5-$6 would not be out of the ordinary here. The farmers markets around here in the Houston area are turning more into gourmet markets. Gone are the days of markets being inexpensive. I'm not complaining....just stating the facts. I'm certainly not complaining because I attend a market and I sell my eggs for $5 per dozen...seems like highway robbery to me....but, the supply/demand makes it so.
Hang in there....you'll make the right decisions.

I'm curious where the farmers market IS? And, do they have fresh green things this time of year?
We are near the Cuyahoga State Park market, but I haven't been. It's only on Saturday morning and I'm just not inclined to get up that early!
