Okay, talk to me ladies.

Do foxes stick around in one place very long? I watched one literally run down the road yesterday morning. It's been a few years since I have seen one here.

They sure will, especially if they have a food supply. They may have a den around, also.

Last year there was a family of foxes in my neighborhood but they seem to have moved on. Guess hunting wasn't so great in town.

i see one around here every now and then. but i don't think Kymo would let them stay around for long.

For every fox one sees there are usually many more around that aren't seen. They are really very prevalent. They aren't seen much because they are sly. As long as he is minding his own business he will probably continue to.

Thanks. I don't see him a problem unless he tries to go after my chickies. So far, so good.

They're just opportunistic predators, so they will hang around as long as they have a good food supply. As long as that doesn't include your animals, that's good :) They take out a lot of smaller varmints!

It makes sense to me that they are like that because I have noticed that the few times I have had problems with foxes they won't keep coming back till ALL the chickens are gone like coyotes or even moreso bobcats will if one lets them.
