Sure would have been nice to have you join us for Tea At Two, but since you couldn't join us here are a few pics.
Yes, we had it in the dining room, just inside the patio door, but we kept in real close touch with the outdoor backyard glamping setup.

Robin made the most "delectable" Strawberry Cupcakes" . . soooo YUMMY!

Closer look at the cupcakes!

Pam brought a beautiful quilt and lovely teapots with cozies, serving trays and all kinds of gorgeous things to decorate. A 6-compartment wire carrier with vintage canning jars, some BEAUTIFUL roses and other flowers and we have a stunning centerpiece. Pam . . aka "coaloha" came over to share in our Tea Time.

Setting the table for our tea

Pam was snooping around our tent and inspecting the lace trim.

Birdie, Laurie and CJ . . . aproned for Tea

Birdie, Pam and CJ

AND, we were delighted to welcome Kim Gammel . . . aka "Kammi" . . to our Friday afternoon activities. She lives in Phoenix and it was such fun to have her join us. Here she is with Pam.

Soooo, we had a wonderful tea! Then we did a couple craft projects, had supper, s'mores . . . well, we'll just have to show you more later!
Thanks for checking in on us.

Well, we had what I would call Royal s'mores 'round the campfire Friday night, using the most delicious homemade "marshies" made by Sharon (calico girl) and Mary Janes scrumptious chocolates! Can you say.....YUMMY?

Here are the coals, warming the Graham's and chocolates, marshies were toasted and then thoroughly enjoyed!

Well, I am safely back home here in New York.
I am tired from my overbite flight, but I had such an amazing time and I feel so blessed that I had the opportuni to fly across the country to Arizona, and meet up with CJ, Robin, and our other fellow farmgirls, who shared in the festivities with us over throughout the weekend. Of course I was the luckiest of the, all, because I got to spend 4 days with CJ and Robin.
Need I say more? Farmgirl fun and hospitality at its best!!
Thank you again CJ and Robin!
Hugs,

~Laurie

Linda was unable to join us on Friday, but came over for brunch on Saturday. Here we are just before setting off on our adventure to Black Canyon City. Robin, CJ, Bramble, Laurie and Linda.
Linda is from Indiana and was in Phoenix for the month of March. It was very timely for her to come join us.

So, what is a Farmgirl outing without thrifting? Well, it's just not complete . . we went to the Angel's Blessing Thrift Shop in Black Canyon City and found all kinds of treasures.

And, what Glamping Farmgirl isn't on a quest for more vintage luggage.
So, Laurie saw this but couldn't claim it but she brought it to Robin. Sooooooo, for $3.00 she got this really nice Samsonite case in a lovely wine color. The lining is in disrepair but guess who gets to do a reburfish project on this case? Hmmmm . . guess who?
ME, of course! So it's going home in my trunk so I can fix it up before our trip in late May/early June.

And, she saw the skirt . . . tried it on, it fit. She wore it to the counter and paid for it, wore it to the grocery store . . . works for her!

Linda made her fun, brightly colored hat just special for this occasion.

Then it was off to Rock Springs to check out the little Farmers Market there. Linda had to leave and head back to Phoenix but Laurie, Robin and I went into the Rock Springs Cafe for burgers and beer . . . and to buy their famous pies to bring home. We chose two . . pecan and mixed berry. Interested in the history of the place? You can learn more about it online.

Laurie laced up her tent a bit, brought a comfy rug and afghan and a couple small decorate pillows.

And then down came her little glamper tent house so she could pack up and go home. Yes, she brought her own tent, even though we told her she didn't have to!

Birdie, Bramble and CJ inside their tent, peering out the windows. Yes, that is the Arizona blue sky in the background, you can see through the back window in the tent.

Robin's kitty, Tiger, decided HE . . yes HE . . liked the Pink Princess rug in our tent, which is Bramble's. AND, he wanted to enjoy my shirt so he wrapped himself in that.

Well, I guess you'll just have to join us next time!!

What a sweet bunch of farmsiters! Ceejay and Robin, you both need to write a book on your Mother and daughter adventures. I just love looking at the pictures and drooling each time I read the word smores. MaryJanes chocolate is to die for.

Laurie, glad you were able to join this silly, but most wonderful and adorable group of ladies. What an inspiration all of you are to the rest of us. The pictures are priceless! You girls are so photogenic.

Glad everyone is home safe. Robin dear, you can ship any leftover chocolate smores my way. LOL!

Ceejay,
You need to make an apron for Bramble to have her picture taken in. She is a sweetie. Her face always seems to have a smile.

Blessings!

Now to show you some up close and personal pics of some delectables.
You girls really missed out!

Made by Rali: Tiny little scones - poppyseed and cranberry - with clotted cream
Fresh strawberries along side.

Made by Sharon (calicogirl): her "to-die-for" homemade marshmallows.
Warm some of Mary Jane's chocolate on a graham cracker and put a ooey, gooey, warm toasted "marshie" on for the BESTEST, MOST WONDERFUL S'mores!

Now, you can only wish ya' had .. . and join us next time.
I didn't even mention the:

Lemon Coffee Cake with fresh lemon that Robin made,
Marina sauce that Jim made . . had it over pasta for our potluck supper
Cheesy Hash Brown potato casserole that Kim brought as well as the raspberry/chipotle sauce over cream cheese on crackers for an appetizer.
Salads . . . wines . . . pecan pie and/or mixed berry pie a la mode. . . farm fresh scrambled eggs with veggies

Campfire
Laughter
Fun
Great coffee
Wonderful tea
More wine
More . . . and lots of Laughter!

(sigh)
I'll be here another day and then head back home to Colorado on Thursday morning.

Memories were made!
New friends were made!
YES!
Thanks for it all!

Oh yeah, we glamped up the back patio and our tents and did it with style!

We enjoyed . . . immensely . . .having Bramble with us! And the company of Tiger the cat!

It was also fun to have Jim (Robin's hubby) and Alex (her stepson) in the mix part of the time. It is when you host a GLAMPING event at your home that ONLY the resident hubbys and sons are allowed to participate!!

THANKS to Jim and Alex too!
