How exciting!!!! I cannot wait to see the see the back patio pictures! I am so happy for Laurie and I know she'll have a grand time on her Arizona clamping adventure. CJ???? Did Laurie tell you what I thought the word clamping meant when I first saw it? LOL
If not, ask her.

Has Laurie arrived yet? Is her tent set up? Are y'all laughing a lot? Patiently waiting for pictures. One more question. Are pom-poms part of the decorations? LOL

Hi Marly,
Laurie is still in the air somewhere between NY and AZ. We'll head to the airport after lunch sometime. So, nope she hasn't set up her tent yet. But, yep, we are laughing a lot . . .we'll laugh more when she gets here. I'll try to post some pics this afternoon.

Nope, no pompoms for our decorations . . .:D
Check back later . .

What wonderful news with the NO POM-POMS. Then I may consider one of these Glamping trips.
I'll keep checking for pictures.

Sharon: The farmgirl Lori/Crafter is always picking on me (yes, picking!) about shaking those silly pom-poms during the NFL football games. I LOVE NFL FOOTBALL!! Anywho, I detest those things. Lori WAS a cheerleader many moons ago. I guess she can't give it up, for whatever reason. She is trying to get me in the cheerleader/pom-pom mode. It will not happen. That is what I keep telling her. This morning the poor girl (Lori) had knee surgery. I told her she has to give up shaking those pom-poms are she'll have total knee replacement soon! LOL

Where are the pictures girls????????????
Hugs to all.

Laurie looks a bit confused about setting up that tent. When one Glamps, does one sleep outside in the tent? ROFL. Oh My.... looks like fun to me. More pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marly, thanks for letting me in on the pom poms! I hope that Lori is doing well. It just may be retirement time for the pom poms. Not really a pom pom funny but a handlebar streamer story :) My husband used to mountain bike and had a few close friends he used to go with. One was the pastor we had in Tucson. When he wasn't looking my honey put streamers on the handlebars of his mountain bike. He didn't notice but a few other mountain bikers did and made comments like "how cute!" (from girls) and "It takes a real man to ride a bike like that" Needless to say ego was puffed up until he saw the streamers :)

Laurie, I'm glad that you made it safely!!! It's nice to put a face with your name. It looks like you girls are really doing it up :) Breakfast looks great! Keep posting more photos ladies!

Meet Rali Burleson, farmgirl who lives in Scottsdale and is a "chick" in our Farmgirls Southwest Henhouse.

She came over bringing delectables for our tea: cucumber sandwiches, egg salad & watercress sandwiches, tiny scones with clotted cream.

"Birdie", Rali & CJ

Robin making her FAB-YOU-LUSS Strawberry cupcakes (for our tea)

Laurie . . doing dishes. Where ya' eat there are dishes to do!

Discussing some projects using the Glamping fabrics.

So, you get to meet Rali this morning. Check back later for pictures of our BEAUTIFUL tea and to meet a couple other farmgirls.

Later today we're headed out for some wild, west Arizona fun!

I have to say that I am truly having a wonderful time. There is just nothing like farmgirl sisters. Warmth, and friendship and genuine good times. We have laughed, and shared the stories of our lives, and just sat and enjoyed each others company.
This is a trip to remember and a birthday to remember!
I turn 47 today, and I was serenaded from the tent by CJ and Robin, with a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday!
CJ is in charge of our picture posting, so I will leave that up to her, but wanted to let y'all know what a Great time I am having glamping here in Arizona.
Hugs,

~Laurie

Hi Rali, it's nice to see you. Hope you are having lots of fun!
Delectables???? Goodness, I need to brush up on those big words before I go glamping. LOL
Clotted cream??????? My mind is going in all sorts of places with that phrase. What is clotted cream?
I love, love, love, love the pictures. Where is Bramble?
So, Glampers have to wash dishes? Was Laurie aware of this?
Laurie, what a beautiful and contagious smile!
I want one or two of those t-shirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love those t-shirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, CJ, for sharing the pictures with us. Can't wait to see more!
Hugs to all of you, including Bramble.
