They are ADORABLE! Reminded me of a project I saw and was going to do, but haven't of painting skates Mary Engelbreit style . . . and I LOVE her designs! CJ

I have a pair of beautifully painted ice skates that my Windy Pines cousin, Michele, and her mother (JanetF) made for me a few years ago. I hang them on my front door for the entire winter. Maryjane had done a project like this a few years ago in her magazine. They are beautiful, creative and can be displayed all winter long!

Me too, JoAnn. I have several pair of vintage skates but just haven't gotten creative with them. I do usually display them around as part of my after-Christmas winter decor. MAYBE, I'll get a pair embellished this year . . we'll see. CJ
