Well I think I put on here before that my DD and SIL were putting in for being foster parents. Well, there licence came though about a month ago and this week they were handed a 3 day old baby boy. Eli is a sweet little baby and they already I think have falling for him. So, hopefully it will lead to an adoption as well. We can pray that God blesses them in that way. It happened a lot faster than I ever thought it would. Pray that it all works out....for everyone...especially the baby....

Awesome!!! So happy for you and your family. I think that Foster parents are such wonderful, giving people! Hope they are able to keep Eli!

well my daughter had a meeting this morning with her caseworker and we need to pray really hard. the mother has been deemed to not be able to take care of herself or her baby. But now the grandmother has come out and said she wants the baby, but she is also trying to get guardianship of her daughter and the state will not let the baby and the mother be in the same house. and the caseworker will not meet with the grandmother by herself cause the grandmother is very mean. so please pray for this baby .. I know I want him to stay in the loving home of my daughter and will be praying for that. I know that sounds selfish but the alternative does not sound good to me...

Beverley, There is nothing selfish about wanting your daughter to be happy. Especially when she is loving and caring for a helpless child. My prayers are added to yours. Please keep posting so we will know the outcome.
