How cute & thrifty is this idea!?!
I spotted this little kiddy apron made from a fingertip towel, at a local Thrift..(snaged a photo of it).. then I searched & found 2 finger tip towels for .69cents each... tomorrow I'll add the ties & waist band from left over fabric... perfect for my two little grandgirlies!

I laid a peice of tissue on top of one towel to get an idea,,, I like the idea of adding 2 little pleats....

they were easy to make... I put 2 little pleats in each one just because....
As for the waist/ties I used left over wide bias tape.
Not bad for 2 towels @ 69.cents each and scrap bias tape..

When I was younger I had a similar apron in my Granny's kitchen, but it was a dish towel sewn to a potholder to make an full apron.

Elizabeth, cute idea of using a potholder as the bib part and a tea towel or wash cloth as the apron skirt part.

I think we could use any kind of towel that catches our fancy...for Spring/Summer & Fall.
