This is a book I don't normally read. I found myself drawn to because it is a woman's diary. It was wonderful surprise. It's based on the author's ancestors. Sarah Agnes Prine traveling with her husband to settle the Arizona territories during 1881 to 1901. What a amazes me is how these women craved out lives for themselves in such tough land. Sarah manages to change her baby daughters diaper and chase away buzzards and save the man she would wind up marrying. It was sheer joy to read this book. These is my words by Nancy E Turner.

Thanks, Giovanni. I will certainly look for this one. I love historical, truth-based books. Sounds right up my alley.

Jeannie, you can get the books at Amazon.com as used books. Don't miss reading these books. I could not brag enough about how much I absolutely loved them. I have read all three, at least, ten times.

I wish I had a hard copy to send to you. I just finished reading the book on my Nook. I ordered the other 2 this morning. Obviously, I loved it.

Joan, I bought a used copy of "These Is My Words" from Amazon. I think I paid less than 5 dollars. If you haven't read it yet, please do. It is so good, and by far my most favorite book of all times. It has two sequels!!

Joan, if I didn't love the book so much, I would send it to you. However, that is one book I'll never part with. Hope you find one.

So glad to hear that. Those three books are my all time favorites. I read them over and over and over. I wish they'd make a movie of each book! I'd be there to see it.
