Nope. It usually eats through the sealant and they are just not the same anymore. They hang up and are hard to get on and off. Plus if they get left one...rusts the lid as well.
I just throw them away. But if you need some... let me know I can send you a box full. They multiple like crazy at my house!!!
Love the wreath idea. I made a wreath out of clothes pins last year and I think you could probably paint the rings in red, white and blue and make a patriotic wreath.
