hello
UPDATE PAGE 3 AND CONTEST WINNER
I thought a nice way to bless our sisters would be a
blessing box to help and make her feel special.
so everyone is welcome to give and receive thanks for
all we do that day ..
this swap will all go into the small $6.10 postal box.
see page two for the contest.
1>two taper candles for the table
in a autumn color
2>ten handmade placecards leave room for name
made out of the little matchboxes and put a little surprise
in each box (exp:baby pinecone wrapped candy charm etc.)
3>pack of fall paper napkins
4>one thanksgiving recipe (appet.sidedish or dessert)
5> and last but not least a thanksgiving blessings prayer or poem
the mailout will be November 10th no later please.
this will give you plenty of time to put a box together, and won't it be fun for the hostess to have a little surprise to help her with the tablescape.
the last day to sign up is October 27th
hope you will join in the fun and friendship.

Hi all, I have a question about the nametag matchboxes. Do I cover them all in the same fall paper or should each one look different meaning different paper and embelishments? Pleas let me know what you think. Thanks

they are the MATCHBOXES (not books)
they are for thanksgiving so
an autumn theme would be perfect but they can all look different
please remember that it would be nice to be able to write a name on the box
as these are meant to be PLACECARDS for the dinner table.
also put a little surprise inside. check my first post for ideas.

I was in another swap and the hostess did a give away which i thought was wonderful...you have to be in the swap to enter into the contest>
so i am going to do something similar but it will be a surprise!
so anyone who would like to enter in the contest email me your address and in the
RE:box type contest
in the body of the email your name and address.
i will write all the names down put them in a bad shake well and pick one lucky winner.
and send her the prize i will post a picture and the name of the winner on Halloween..LOL

you can buy them in the grocery store, maybe walmart.
they are just matchboxes .
you probably won't find them in the craft store.

ARGH! I need to bow out of this swap this time around. I'm so sorry. Better now than later, right? With training the new puppy and being in the middle of cross country season for my oldest, I know that I'm not going to have time to put into this swap.
Hopefully, you'll do something like this next year because it sounds absolutely lovely!
