If I put the kiddie pool in the front yard I have boatmen beetles by the third day, at the latest. In the backyard, I have yet to get a beetle in the pool. Any ideas? Is there something that is attracting them to the front yard?

Is there more sun in the back yard? I noticed that the more sun we have the less beetles. Marly
