Garden Gate: my friend's tomato plants are yellow, but fruiting

My friend decided to plant produce for the very first time this year and I finally got to see her garden. I was kind of shocked - her tomato plants are practically neon yellow, but they are still producing a lot of tomatoes. I'm still getting tomatoes out of our garden, but my plants are all green. What would make her plants turn so completely bright yellow like that and yet still allow for the production of a good amount of tomatoes? I've just never seen anything like it! And it's a couple different types of tomatoes, so I don't think it's some unusual breed of tomato I've never seen before.
Any thoughts?

Try Epsom Salt 1T per gallon of water. Worked on mine.

Should she water with the epsom salt solution, or spray the plants? What's causing the neon yellow color of the plants?
