I'm training for my first Half-Marathon next July! I'm on week 3 now, and I feel great! I haven't noticed major physical changes yet, but I do find myself able to go further/quicker each training day :)

Anyone else do half-marathons or want to? I'd love some training buddies :)

I have run a few 1/2 marathons and love to do so! Training is key. I did the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco and had so much fun! There were 26,000+ women running and loved running with so many women from everywhere and all walks of life. Nike did an outstanding job in catering and taking care of us. It helped me to have join a local running group as it guilted me into keeping my commitment to meet with the others. Good luck!!

Oh and a good pair of running shoes is crucial! If you can have yourself fitted at a running store, your feet, knees and back will thank you!
