How cool is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a shed about that size that I keep trying to get my sweety to move back here where we built the new house so I can use it as a garden shed. It is about the same size. I will show him your pictures then someday he will wake up and say "Lets move that shed back here for you"...hehehe. Thats my hope anyway. LOL

May your bobbins always be full!!!

Very nice garden shed, Kris! Will you put a curtain in the inside window? Nice.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, y'all! I love that little garden shed. I am going to put a flower box in the window so that should stop the door from banging the window. And cute little curtains blowing in the breeze sounds nice, Marly. Good idea. I can't wait to start putting up shelves and probably some lattice for hanging things. My mom said she has a bathroom cabinet I can have to put in it!. This is going to be fun. I have to cut some of the branches that are hanging on the roof. And I hope to get it wired for electricity too. That would be nice. Oh, the possibilities are endless.

They did have a really cute green shed about a month ago when I first went to look at sheds. I sure wish they still had it. I love green. But this'll do. I'll post pictures as I go. There's a lot to do.

Kris, I love the idea of the flower box on the window. Cute, cute, cute. You will have to take a picture and share it with us. AND- may I suggest that you could put peg board up on one wall. That way you'll be able to hang up your garden stuff. My hubby has that in his workshop and loves it.

Marly, that's what I meant instead of lattice. My brain, ugh! Yes, that is the best thing ever to hang things on. And we have a lot of those little hooky things too.

I put my first thing in the shed today. I was planting spinach, radishes and chard when it started raining. So I put my seeder and the box with the seed packs in it inside the shed. It's still raining so can't do much right now. Got those seeds in the ground at the right time though!

It's raining/pouring here, too, Kris. Our seeds are slowly coming up. I hope this rain doesn't drown them.

Kris, how is the Shed working out? Did you find a curtain? I can't wait to see a picture with the curtain.

Kris, isn't it fun to plan. Sometimes the planning is more fun than the finished project. The barn got finished painting today. Now it is time to paint the barn quilt and put it up. Such fun. Corn and Beans is the block. I can't wait to get it up. Have fun with your shed.

Kris, in Stitching & Crafting, click on Garage door quilts. On page three, twelve postings down, Bush n Peck (Tracy) posted a picture of her chicken coop with a coop quilt painted on it. I can see your new garden shed with something like this. What do you think? I think it is adorable!

Marly, I saw that coop quilt. It's so pretty. I wonder if I could do something like that on my shed.

Karen, thank you and I am glad I can inspire anyone to det out and garden. I love doing this. And you still have plenty of garden time left.

Yesterday I got out in the South garden and tilled and planted a wide row of collard greens and another row of beets. I found some Martha Stewart organic beets at Home Depot. Then I hilled up 3 rows about 15' long and planted more carrots. This really is fun. I love to see everything coming up. I am waiting on Brussel sprouts to get here so I can plant t=some. And I'll have to wait a little longer to plant lettuces.

I have not had much time to do anything inside my garden shed yet. I did go Wed. to a home improvement surplus store and bought lumber and metal roofing for the sheep shed that'll go to the left of the shed. It was only around $145 for mostly 12' lumber and metal roofing. I was shocked at how cheap that was. Lumber must be way down right now. SO I will go ahead and get more for my lean to then. And I still need to call the plumber to come out and see if he can do a faucet and the sink. It's fun planning all this too.

My husband started months ago, turning an old log corncrib that's been on the farm for a couple of generations into a potting shed. He still has to put a tin roof on it and add a door. It may be finished by next year at this time! I'm envious of your beautiful building.

Kris, I think the barn quilt would be really nice. I know it'll probably take time to get that done, but when and if you do, please post a picture.
