ETA: I found a family to interview! No longer need assistance. Thanks!

Hello all,

I'm posting as a last resort to see if anyone would be willing to help me out with this.

I'm currently taking a college course (the last one before I finally graduate with my BA) in family communication. One of the assignments is to interview three members of the same family, from at least two different generations. I'm not permitted to use my own family.

After going through a list of possible contacts I found that many of my acquaintances wouldn't be suitable, declined, or didn't get back to me.

I need to get the interviews done by this Thursday evening in order to turn in a paper on Friday (it's an accelerated class - yuck!). The one family I thought for sure would do it never replied to my request. Now I don't know what I'm going to do!

Each interview will only take about thirty minutes. Each interviewee should be at least high school aged. A grandparent, parent, and child would work; a parent and two children would work; a child and both parents would work. There will be 7-8 questions. The topic is the role of the internet in family life and communication. The questions are open-ended and won't require you to divulge any private information--if you do not feel comfortable answering any of the questions, you don't have to. The interviews can be conducted over the phone or through e-mail/internet chat.

The paper will not be a transcript of the interviews, but a general overview of some of the data collected in order to support or challenge information found in related scholarly articles. Your names will be changed to protect your privacy, and the only other information included would be your gender, age (can be approximate!), and role in the family (e.g. mother, daughter, etc.). The only person who will be reading the paper is my instructor--it will not be viewed or published anywhere else.

I am totally willing to reciprocate the favor in whatever way I can.

I'm a knitter and can custom make you a small clothing/household item or a knitted toy/figure (including farm-y fruits and veggies with or without googly eyes--I gladly take requests): http://www.flickr.com/photos/leahlyndell/sets/72157630839880858/

I can also offer heirloom veggie seeds as thanks.

Any takers?

Unfortunately, I don't fit your requirements or I would help you out for sure! My daughter recently ran into a similar situation, so she improvised and wrote what she thought her great-grandmother would say by way of information I gave her from my own memories of gramm. I know it might not be exactly what you needed, but...
