My best friend's daughter-in-law has gone into premature labor today. They have tried to do everything they could to stop the labor, but to no avail. This baby is supposed to be due 9/8 and is 34 weeks along right now. If you have a chance, prayers are needed now for this young family.

Thank you,
Dawn in IL

Thank you all for your prayers. Little Lucy showed up last night and weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces. She is in the NICU right now. I don't know much more this morning then that, but prayers are always welcome!

Thank you for all of your support, my friend was very touched by all of your kindness as am I.

Praying that sweet little Lucy grows strong and healthy and that mom and dad can focus on enjoying their little blessing without too many worries.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Lucy is starting to nurse and is now breathing on her own. We are praying she will gain weight and avoid getting an infection. Her mom was released from the hospital yesterday & she is taking turns with her husband going to the NICU. Big brother, who is 1.5 years old, is having a hard time with his parents being gone. He was very happy to see his mommy yesterday.

They send their thanks for all of your prayers and kind words. As do I.

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. Lucy is having a hard time keeping her IV in and nursing. For now she is being bottle fed her mother's milk since it requires less energy and sucking. The doctor's said she needs to gain weight and stay infection free. Please continue to pray for this little one and her family, they need it.

Praying for baby Lucy, and her whole family. God is in control, and His plans are always perfect.

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.
