Hello and Happy Summer Farmgirls!
We are once again exchanging names to send each other fun and unique pieces of art through the mail! I will send each of you an email by June 31st, 2012 with the name and address of your partner.
THEME (optional) : The State Fair
DEADLINE FOR MAILING : August 15, 2012
COST : Free! Mail art can be made of scraps, can be a postcard, can be a decorated recipe. The only requirements are that it be fun, creative, and mailable, in that order. :)

This month, we are asking for folks who feel so inclined to send a mail art without getting mail art back to send to Jacob Fesher, a kid who is fighting cancer and could use a little fun in the mail. Here is his address :

I don't know how old Jacob is, the info was sent to me by another farmgirl, but hoping she forgives me, I confess I don't remember which farmgirl sent it to me. Sorry! Might want to follow up on the child with Cancer as I called the hospital and they were not able to locate a patient with that name. (University of Iowa by the way). Maybe your first contact would know if he is an outpatient now.
Please let us know if you hear something.
OR WE CAN JUST SEND CARDS TO THE CHILDREN'S CANCER UNIT !!!
