Jim is going on his annual backpacking trip with his friend next week. We are busy dehydrating some of their meals. We have finished the spagetti sauce and currently drying the stuff for sheperd's pie--it smells wonderful!

I've been dehydrating potatoes into hashbrowns for camping and stocking up. I hope to dry out more.

I dehydrate apples, pears, strawberries, kiwi, and mushrooms but have never tried potatoes. Such great ideas from all of you, thank you. I'm going home to dehydrate...lol.
