Um! These were delicious! However, I did hand cut them and it causes thinner ones to burn. I have to buy a mandolin now. Yum!!! Oh so good, and to me, better than the Terra brand.

Recipe: http://www.marthastewart.com/312807/beet-chips

I sprinkled mine with sea salt (and didn't really measure, but filled 2 trays).

I have to make these again!

I think I will try to get some made today.

Made them a long time ago. Did find that the taste of the organic beets was better than any others.

Enjoy!

I did plant organic and we don't use chemicals whatsoever. I'll update if I do. I just have to finish canning relish, and such.

Kale also makes wonderful chips using the leaves. Make only 7 minutes or until the kale is just barely brown on the very edges.
These have the stamp of approval of my friend's two boys ages 6 & 8!
Enjoy!

My 3 year old who won't eat anything really loves Kale chips and I thought I'd try her out on these, too. I don't have a mandolin, though--I'll have to figure somthing out!

I made squash chips the other day, and they were very good too, but will use less oil next time than the recipe I had. Such a great way to eat veggies as a snack.

Squash chips - neat idea. You can also roast squash seeds too.
