Thanks Penny Wise....my last surgery, reconstruction, was May 30th 2013. But my journey started when yours came to completion...October 30, 2012. I'm 59 with one small Tattoo on the base of my neck...a spiral. This was done about 6 months before being diagnosed. Whenever the nurses see it they always make a positive comment. As far as young women and the workplace, my advice would be to keep the neck and lower arms tattoo free. Unfortunately, we live still live in a time where one is judged by their outside appearances.
So... tattoos?
