has anyone ever been diagnosed with this? I just was through an internal ultrasound and now am being sent for a biopsy. I have read all different things about it online but just was wondering if anyone ever had it and what the Dr. did to fix it? Just wondering what I am in for? Thanks for any info....

I have a friend who recently experienced this. She is a cancer survivor, so there was a big fear that it was cancerous. Her uterus was also enlarged. I don't think they've quite figured out the cause yet, but the biopsy came back as completely benign.

I don't believe so because they don't know what is causing it yet. I will have to ask her the latest on her situation. This was just a recent thing for her, so I think it's not completely solved.

my dr wants to do a D&C for the biopsy so he gets a better sampling. so that is scheduled for sure on the 31st but the nurse is going to try and get it moved uo to the 17th. I told he I would really appreciate that cause the waiting is the hardest. So yes is the answer to your questions that he is going to do another test and it was very nice of you to ask... thank all of you and if you can remember me in your prayers i would really appreciate that too!!!

I certainly hope you get the appt in two weeks. You are right about the waiting being so hard. I'm sure you aren't so nervous about the D&C as you are for the results. I would be scared, too. I am praying for you. Keep us posted. Who will be going with you to the procedure?

My husband is going with me and you are right , the D&C does not bother me to have ,it is the results. but I have to wait a few days to get those after the D&C. so that will be the hard part...thanks so much for the prayers, I really appreciate that!!!

They were able to get fit me in on the 17th, so I will be having the d&c this friday. Hopefully by next week I will have more news on the biopsy. Keep me in your prayers. thanks bev

Beverley, I am thrilled for you! What a relief to have the procedure sooner. My family is coming into town on Friday. I will be thinking of you and praying for a clean biopsy. If I am not online, please know you are not far from my thoughts.

Thinking of you. I know the procedure isn't the most pleasant, but it id nothing compared to the waiting. Praying the time passes quickly until you get news that will calm your worries.

well the procedure went well. the dr found polyps that were causing the bleeding. so I still have to wait for the biopsy but from what I've read it is usually benign, so I hope and pray for that. but I already feel better...

Well, that isn't the longest amount of time I have heard of waiting for lab results, but that is a while. I suppose the longer it takes, the better? It seems the "bad" news travels fastest. One more hurdle ... prayers are sent your way.

Thank God! Your news has added an extra special pleasure to my day. So happy you can breathe more easily. And good for you for keeping up with your well woman exams and being so proactive in you healthcare. I know it was unpleasant and scary, but boy oh boy, you sure came out the winner. Marianne, thank you so much for being on here so I could vent and talk. It is hard to talk to loved ones sometimes cause they are as scared as I was. Beverley, There is no need for a thank you. I know how difficult it is to be perfectly honest about your fears to someone who loves you so much they are scared, too. You are trying to protect them, too. But, being able to admit some fear and have it validated is important. I am so glad it turned out so well! And I am so happy to have gotten to know you a bit better. From now on, let's talk about better stuff.
