Oh good grief! I still have not gotten the Lavender in the mail...still drying but should be ready to go by this weekend...
I will send some for the firepit to scent the fire and a bag of loose but not sifted buds..so you'll have to sift or pick the bits of leaves and stems out.
No pesticides, so it can be used for cooking/baking & tea.
Wish I could be there with you all but my lavender will be there in it's place...
I will be returning from the trail ride up in the Bitterroot mountains late 9/10 and then head off to Karen's (kpaints) the 14-16 for GirlCamp at her place...breakfast will be in the Chicken Mansion....for those of you who know her, it's her Blinged up chicken/craft coop... :>)
Have fun Glamping, enjoy nature & crafting and know that I will be there with you all in spirit.

Update on the spinning class- if you would like to take this class, it's $17.00 for the instruction, spindle and 1 oz. of fiber. If you already have your own spindle subtract $5.00, if you have your own fiber subtract $5.00.
There ya go!

I too am looking forward to this so much. A great get away, much cooler weather & getting to meet & know more farmgirls! I've been getting all my "stuff" together for weeks! ( Hope I can get it all in the truck & tent!) :)

We are less than a week away and things are starting to really come together! Everyone...20+ farmgirls and young cultivators are getting their gear ready for an amazing weekend!

Oh April, I am remiss for having not sent the lavender... it was not dry,,,and I let time escape me as I was trying to headout to the Bitterroots for a 5 day trail/camp ride...SO... I so appologise.
That being said, I luv Diane's pics of the gathering.... wish I or my lavender could have been there.
Any more pics? would love to see them....
