Hi farmgirls!

Yesterday I made homemade egg noodles........so easy. Have you ever made them? I have memories of my Grandmother making them for us. Did yours as well. Love the stories!
I have the recipe here if you would like.

Linda, I will have to make some noodles using your recipe. I have always made noodles just using flour, salt, egg yolks, and just a little water...I am looking forward to making up a batch of your noodles...do you ever freeze your noodles?

I often freeze my egg noodle dough before I roll them out. It works great...just make sure you wrap it tight in plastic wrap and make sure it is thawed out to room temp. before you roll them out.

Hi Sarita, I have not freezed noodles before, but I would like to try. Never thought about it, but that would be so nice to have on hand. I always have canned chicken in my pantry. You will ike this recipe......fast and very very good! I use my food processor and turn it off as the dough comes together!

Hi Beth, thank you for the instructions. How sweet of you to write. I will try this also. It would be easy enough to do!

Blessings, Linda

I freeze my noodles all the time! I make very large batches & then feeze them in serving size packages! It is great to be able to pull out a package & have homemade noodles whenever!

I make noodles every summer, but we haven't had extra eggs this year. We've had some hens die and need to replace them.

Hi Sandra, You are so welcome! I am going to try the freezing. Thank you for commenting.

Karla,I like the serving size packages idea. Love the scripture verse! I needed it today!

Kristina, I would share some eggs with if you lived close. I have had some hens killed by a neighbors dog. That was not neat at all! Cut down on my eggs also!

Hugs from my farm! Linda
