You can absolutely root rosemary cuttings. It's very easy; you don't even need to go through the usual indoor routine with potting soil and so on. If you have a fairly mature plant, you can cut off a 4 or 5 inch stem and plant it right in the soil beside the "mother plant." Just keep it watered. Do it now while it's still hot.
