Today we picked a really big harvest; 57 okras, 22 cucumbers, and lots and lots of bush beans (enough to fill at least 8 quart size ziplock bags. We had about five tomatoes. Looks like the tomatoes are given out or the bugs are getting them.

Thanks for your comment. I love okra. I blanche it, then strain it, then freeze in quart size bags. We try to keep several bags just for the winter. My hubby loves okra and shrimp gumbo.

Marianne, if you lived closer, I'd be sharing the okra with you. Our tomatoes are slowly dying. We have had so much rain, I think they just drowned.

Awesome, Marly! Just awesome! Congratulations!

I'm sorry about your tomatoes... That's the pits. I'd gladly trade a whole bunch of tomatoes for some okra... too bad we live so far apart. I've never grown okra - is it hard???

Congrats again!

Nini, you are just about the sweetest thing! Thanks for always commenting on my posts. Our okra is abundant!!!! I blanched and froze ten bags last night. My freezer is filling up!
