Hmmm, what do you think? should I re-purpose one of these into either a '1st-Aid' basket or a mini tool basket...
oh duh! silly me,,, I have 2 which means I can make one of each

They will work perfect for my vintage trailers....

great idea! Never would have thought of that for ised sewing baskets. Will be looking for some on my trips to the thrift stores, etc from now on. They'll make a very lovely tool basket and first aid kit. How snazzy and what conversation pieces.

it's easy to become addicted to these.... right now, I have one that I use to store my pre-cut fabric circles, thread & needle in.. as a take-n-go basket...It's my traveling "YoYo" kit!

'sew' many fun ideas for using these old sewing baskets.

LOVE the idea of making these into First Aid kits. What a great Christmas gift that would make. Filled with bandaids, antibiotic ointment, peroxide, gauze, tape etc etc. Its pretty AND useful. Something every house can use!
Thanks for the idea Grace!
Ill be hunting for these on my thrifting trips for sure!
Hugs,
