Joan, Iam sorry for your loss & take your time in getting mine done. Iam in no rush & have had so many family emergencies over the course of this year that Iam almost never on balance anymore. Iam hoping to have yours done this week but more than likely it'll be more like next week.
*Hugs* Fran.

Farm Girls are WONDERFUL! Thank you so much for the hugs and prayers.
Now ... we will get back to the fun business of creating blocks. Mine are almost finished and will be in the mail by Tuesday the latest.

Rebecca, I received your most adorable star spangled block and then you were so sweet to send red, white and blue fat quarters. THEN you sent a most beautiful handmade dish cloth. Thank you so very, very much. Hugs, Joan

Dear Joan, I just made it to the mailbox, even though it is Sunday, and what a surprise to find I forgot to get the mail yesterday and that your wonderful envelope was waiting for me! What a super "primitive" (as you called it) block. It is soooo pretty. Thank you also for sharing some of your beautiful trims with me. Laces and ribbons and edging oh my! This has been a fun swap. Just two more blocks and we can start thinking of how we want to put it together. I have been thinking of a table topper. What do you think? Thanks again, Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, Received your block in the mail, and the lovely tucks, did you make the dish cloth? My Mom will be so surprised when she comes to my house for supper this week and she will get an actual napkin instead of a paper towel. Loved your quilt block you did an awesome job. |

It made my day when I opened the package! I'm happy to say that I finally finished your blocks today. I had the first one done awhile ago but had to get the second one done. Hi there, ladies. :)
I just wanted to let Joan (Jonesy) know I got her wounderful blocks. They're so pretty! And the add-on gifts are great too! Iam addicted to trims & the magnets are the nice flat ones that my cats can't steal off the fridge. :D

Rebecca,
Happy to hear that you like the primitive block.
I don't know yet what I am going to do with all of them. I thought a throw or perhaps a full quilt.... hmmm a table runner sounds nice... don't know yet. Any ideas ladies?????? Whatever we do, we surely should post pictures when finished.

I got your blocks out in the mail today, Joan. I think the post lady said you should get them around monday. :)
I like looking at what everyone is doing so I try to make a point to post pics, too. If you can't get a pic loaded when you get he blocks I took a pic of them before I packed them up. Just let me know if you want me to post it. :)

Cherise My blocks came in the mail today and I just love them; especially the sunshine. Thanks for the fatquarters. I'm sure I will use them in one of my projects.

Dear Toni, I received your package Saturday, but did not have time to open until last night. Wow! What a great block! Thank you also for the tucks, fabric, emery board, pins. You did way too much. I have to say my favorite was the handmade card and your wonderful note. It was like we were sitting together over a piece of your wonderful pie (lol) having a great chat. I have read it several times already and really appreciate all you shared with me! Fondly, Rebecca

Cherise,
I received your pretty blocks. The sunshine is just too cute. You really took sometime hand embroidering that sun. The patriotic one is great.
Mine are in the mail today. The post office said you should receive it by Thursday. Fingers Crossed that you do.
I hope you like them.

Don't worry, Nettie. There was no theme for June other than summer colors. Joan did a super cute block with ants printed on red gringham like a picnic cloth & some watermelon print. I felt bad that mine wasn't as cutely planned out as her's was but I haven't gotten to go to a fabric store for soooooo long so I had to work with what was in my stash. So I went bright & sunny. :)
Joan, Iam really glad you liked everything. I really enjoyed making the blocks for you, I haven't gotten to sew much this year so it was wounderful for me to get behind the sewing machine again...I do hope its ok that my blocks turned out to be 13inches. I don't how Ive managed to do that so many times this month! Even the wonky blocks where 13inches but they where easy to trim down to 12.
