YEAh! Debbie, Colorado farm girls having fun! My cousin Amy in Loveland, said it was 101 there today! and they can smell the smoke, but feeling blessed and sad for others at the same time, They go to FT. Collins quite often.

I just read about a fire in the Southern part of Colorado now, not the Springer fire another one already burned about 800 acres.
Please all you Colorado MJsisters be careful and keep safe,

There is now a 800+ acre fire in Weber Canyon, near Mancos, Colorado just a few miles southweat of our house. We DID make it to Debbie's house, but left there yesterday as we are working as crew members for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Rocky Mountains event in the Keystone/Dillon/Breckenridge, CO area.
The entire state of Colorado is terribly, terribly dry due to lack of sufficient winter snow and spring rains. It's very scary!
There is also a fire in the Pagosa Springs area (about 120 miles east of my home) that has grown to 15,000+ acres.
We had a wonderful visit with Debbie, Marilyn and, as a surprise, Tammy (tammyc) arrived via plane in Denver, we went and picked her up and had more fun with her included.
YES, there will be pictures sometime . . . when I finish with the breast cancer event. Right now we are on a break between crew duties!
Please continue your prayers for this southwestern/western states . . . this is a critical situation!

A tiny, but SOOOO WELCOME and REFRESHING rain shower on us at the Closing Ceremonies at our Breast Cancer event yesterday afternoon in Breckenridge, CO. Another one at my niece's house in Westminster, CO last night.
The fire in Weber Canyon is now 7000 acres, with possible evacuation of the entire town of Mancos, CO. I read that at least HALF of the entire nations firefighting fleet is fighting fires in Colorado!! WOW!!!!!
Still very, very hot all over . . . there are so many fires in other states around us as well . ..

Praying!! and have posted prayer request to Face Book and many emails !!! I have family in Loveland and Boulder, Loveland Family can smell the smoke, and have seen some ash. They are keeping us posted.
