My sister visited today bragging about how nice her tomato's were, she brought over about five big red ones.
My husband goes to the garden, and brings in our first ripened tomato of the season; a very, very small one.
I decided to take a picture of the two; my sisters tomato and our tomato.
Go ahead and laugh, I did!!!!!!

Thanks for the laugh Ladies! I laughed wildly when my hubby brought that tomato to show me. Sorry the picture came out so big. I tried to resize my pictures once, but then you couldn't see the subject in the picture.

Hey, at least you have SOMETHING to show from the garden- big or small, our harvests are treasures! The story behind the picture is pretty funny though. LOL!
Thanks for sharing, and remember its early yet!

Well the little one looks more tasty. I'm just jealous that you are getting tomatoes. Our last freeze date in the spring is June 10th and our first in the fall is Sept. 10 so we are very lucky if we manage to get any tomatoes. It usually freezes when the vines are loaded with green tomatoes, so if we get the forethought we can pick them green and put them in a paper sack and they turn red. But still not as good as vine ripened, yummy.

Thanks, Marlee for the laughter. Since that tomato was picked, we have picked bigger cherry tomatoes.
