I don't know about you ladies, but I get super excited when I get a great buy at the store! It's almost like Christmas!
I stopped off at the store last night to pick up a few things and lo and behold, I found 6 packs of Snapple for $1 each! I picked up four packs! The checkout girl asked me if there were any left because people had been buying cart loads of them at a time! Then today, I went back to see if they had any more. They didn't, but they did have 6 packs with rebate forms on them that would make them FREE after rebate! Of course I picked up another pack! My family will be drinking Snapple for awhile! Lol!

Any one else get some steals at the grocery store lately?

I bought a whole case of poptarts last week for 50cents a pack! The case had been dropped, but the kids don't care. They crumble them up and pour milk over them anyway, so they are just precrumbled! LOL!

$.49/a loaf for deli baked french bread.

It's not organic, but it's great for french toast or taking camping. I snagged 4 loaves and they are in my freezer right now.

I recently tried the moisturizing cream from Aldi. Its AMAZING and only $3.49! Its made by Lacura and it has COQ10 - they have day and night. So far I only tried the day cream but I really like it. The friend who told me to try this has family in England - she said its very popular there and the stores can't keep it on the shelf.

COQ10 stands for coenzyme Q 10 - a fat-soluble vitamin. It is made in your body but you can also find it in foods like spinach, salmon and soybeans to name a few. COQ10 does lots of things for heart-disease and other diseases - but it can also help protect your skin from damaging free-radicals. As we age, we lose COQ10 from our skin and moisturizers with this in it seems to help the slow or minimize the damage. Its a good thing. By the way, the price is $3.99 at Aldi's for the moisturizer. I'm still using it and love it. If you have an Aldi by you, I highly recommend the Lacura moisturizing cream.
