You can just keep on adding it. Seeing as how its not a chemical theres no worries at all.
I drink alot of coffee & all of the grounds & left over liquid goes into the compost bin. (I do mean alot!) Its never bothered any of my plants...but flower bearing plants really do love it.
I put our old coffee in an old pot, when it is full I spread it out under the Knockout roses. Marly

A lot of coffee shops including the big multi-nationals will give out free bags of old coffee grounds for the compost - I ask for it reguarly and they are always glad to give it me.
Thanx I just don't want moldy old coffee sitting around my kitchen. I didn't know if too much acid hurt them or not. I have a red rambler. It isn't trained yet. Hubby weed whacks around them. A couple of times, he got the longest limb. I was so mad. I've been wanting to train it to go around my fence. Gotta get more old panty hose to tie the limbs to my fence.

Anyone tried it for Hydrangea's? I never thought of using my grounds this way! I always just throw them in the compost pile. Thanks!

I put some grounds on my Hydrangeas this morning. I'll let you know if it turns out!
