Hi Farmgirls!

I am so proud of my little girl, Audrey!!! I want to just burst with pride! She's winding down her fourth grade year. She's been in chorus two years at school, and the Fourth Grade Chorus is for the entire fourth grade. The big concert is what they have worked hard all year for. There are several classes, and it's a pretty big school. She got picked to speak, introducing a song and reading about it's history, and she got a solo part in another song! We are so proud! Then today...

she comes home, and she has won a national writing contest! Her teacher entered her poem (with our permission) in a national contest, and her poem is one picked to be published in a book! We are so proud!!! Good things. Just wanted to shout it out. I'm just a proud, proud Mommy. She is the best blessing ever!

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

A big Congratulations to you and your daughter Audrey. Is this book something we can purchase to support her school?

Thank you everyone! I will be printing out this page of well-wishes for her end-year scrapbook I am making. Joan, thank you, but I don't think so...they are limiting the number of books we get to purchase as a family, but thank you so much for asking. I can post more as I get more info. I read her poem and really was floored. It is about our dear, elderly cat. She loves him so.

Oh, thank you all so much. Here's a picture of Audrey the night of her concert. :)

And afterward, with my DH as we celebrated. My two sweeties:

I am so very proud of her. She's worked really hard this year. Thanks for letting me brag a bit, Farmgirls! Hugs!
