I haven't tried these in particular; however, back in the '70s I used my kids basic crayola crayons to do the same thing. Wash your fabric to remove the sizing, use an embroidery outline or free-hand draw the design. Fill-in or out-line with the crayons, then iron with a dry iron on the wrong side of fabric. :)
