This is a picture of our baby Dazzle that was born last spring. This picture was taken last fall. Also a picture of her mother Sparkle and her Sire Iceman. We are expecting 3 foals this year. One is by Dazzles sire Iceman and a different mare Bambi. Our mare Sweetheart was due april 6th. She is laying down this morning like she is thinking about having it finally. She is bred to our stallion Sunny. Bambi is due in 2 weeks. She is bred to Iceman. And Cheyenne is due in July. She is bred to an appaloosa stallion.

Thank you ladies. Natalie Iceman is a perlino. You probably already know this but if anyone is interested Cremellos are diluted palaminos and their manes are a little lighter than their bodies and perlinos are diluted buckskins and their manes are a little darker than their bodies. It dilutes down like this black/bay > buckskin > perlino ....or... sorrel > palamino > cremello. Both perlino and cremello horses carry a double cream gene and they will always contribute 1 cream gene when they breed. So in general Iceman makes buckskin babies when bred to a black or bay mare and palomino babies when bred to a sorrel. However he also carries a black gene and so it is possible that a sorrel mare bred to him could have a buckskin. He can also throw smokey creams and grullos. If the mare already has a cream gene like if she is a palomino or a buckskin then she could throw a cream gene and the baby would be another double cream like Iceman. Sorry can't stop talkin about horses once I get started.

Gosh, it's just been so long since I've been around them I'd honestly forgotten the difference! Thanks for the refresher!

He's gorgeous even if I didn't know what color he was ;)

Wow Natalie and CeeJay I just looked at your blogs. so cool! Beautiful country there in Montana Natalie, and your yaks are so cool! And what a sweet happy family I see you all being. And Ceejay I love the beautiful stuff you make, wow! What are those little strung lights made of. Those are cool. I would love to make and put a string of those in my craft room. I need more light in there. And CeeJay We don't live too far apart who knows maybe we can meet and say hi someday!
