I work with children with Autism in a therapeutic day school. I am well aware of Autism, but so many are not. April is Autism Awareness month and I thought I would pass on tip of a good read: Look Me in the Eyes: My Life with Asperger by John Elder Robison. It is a good book written by a man who did not realize he had Asperger's until he was 40.

His brother wrote the best seller: Running with Scissors. I have not read that one but it is on my list too.

Another good one is 'All Cats Have Asperger's , especially for kids.

I always thought I was more like a bird, but maybe that's just me?

Autism= Always unique, totaly interesting, sometimes mysterious.

Do you have Autism Alyce? The kids I work with are like the saying above. Each is an individual. Only one in particular do I think is extremely catlike.
