What a beautiful and exciting magazine! New apron patterns and lots of pretty ideas. Since it's also a "stichery issue" there are even articles on rug hooking and treadle machines. Thanks to all of you who put this out for us!

Blessings,
Ann

Isn't it fun! I just love to read about some of our gals here on the forum, too. I've only found one "problem" with it so far -- it's added too many things to my "want-to-make-project list"!!!

XOXO, Libbie

I really love this magazine, every issue is so beautiful, full of ideas and very informative. I love the aprons and am glad to see articles on organic farming. I have been hearing recently the government is looking to reduce standards because large corporations are getting involved.

BUT, what I love most are Carol's boots. My grandaughter and I want to know where we can get them.

Hi girls. Glad you're getting your magazines, and thank you for all the nice feedback! And Betty, I found my cute lady bug boots at a place in Oregon on the web - and they have frogs, cows, etc. - I don't see that link right now, but you can search on the web for it.

Thanks all!
Carol

I have searched in vain for a copy of the new issue but have come up empty handed in all the places I usually purchase it. When will it be available on newsstands?

Well - today there were two issues of the new MJf Mag in my mailbox!!! One I ordered and one I got for being on the list for subscribers. I want to tell you, it really made my day, which was already made because I got a good report from my eye doctor this morning. And I was initially concerned.....

Meg, it is so sweet to see your tummy grow in the photos of the magazine, and always covered by sweet aprons! MaryJane, you are a real leader of women. In a major way. And I love the tribute to your mom. Each magazine has come to me and reached into my heart where it was at the time! That is magical. And I thank you all at MJF for being REAL. That is key. Thank you, thank you!
Jeannie

P.S. Aunt Jenny - I hope you get your issue soon! You are so much closer than me to Moscow - who knows about the postal system? But girl, you are our main gal here - you deserve the first issue of each mag! Love you!

Peace

Hi again girls - our subscription issues are sent directly from the printer (in Michigan), so that might clear up some of the mystery as to the timing of receiving them. At that same time, they're sent to our distributor, who then sends them onto stores. The "on sale" date we were given was Sept. 25 (the day they will be in stores). So I'd say to start looking in stores around then.

Thanks to all of you!
Carol

Got mine today too!! Sooooooooo excited, but almost don't want to open it because then the anticipation is over, kinda like Christmas afternoon ya know. I agree with Jeannie, Aunt Jenny should get the first issue too. Well better get out of here, make a cup of tea (cold here this evening) and open up pure heaven! Thank you to all who put forth great effort to bring pure joy to our little farm girl hearts!!

Carol, thanks for the info on the boots. I found them, and the web site I found had lady bug clogs also. They are so cute. Getting frogs for my grandson and lady bugs for me and grandaughter. I'll probably get the clogs for me, too.

Does anyone know if Walmart will carry the new issue? I didn't see the last one there but the one before that I did and it's the issue that got me hooked! Walmart is my only outlet here for magazines so I hope they will carry it, I can't wait!

I have looked for MaryJanes magazine at local Barnes and Noble and salesperson said....and I quote" We don't carry anything called Maryjanes book or magazine" now I know Maryland is still in USA so why don't the local BN Book store carry it.. The woman was painfully nasty about it.. I guess I will have to try to order it from main site.. BN just lost a good customer after that remark....

Margie,
I know how you feel, the snotty responses are getting really old with me too.
I feel like I'm really putting them out by asking a question.
Or if I ask where something is, I get someone that points the direction and they go back to their personal discussion.
My main pet peev is if you buy something, you never get a THANK YOU anymore.
It's usually HAVE A NICE DAY or THERE YOU GO.

I went into Barnes and Nobles last night and went to the information counter. I asked this cute lady if she knew when it would be coming in. She didn't go to the computor but instead looked me straight in the eye and said, "I can't wait for that magazine, either! I figure it should be here on or around Sept. 21st!" Amen! Susan
