Is he a former or still? Either way, it's horrible, and I'd guess that it would be time to "get out the vote" and start petitioning your county and state officials. Like minded people CAN effect change. It would be an obvious statement to say he couldn't be impartial...

Honestly, I figures it was Idaho. I lived in N. Idaho for three years. During that time, my husband has to say at his work: The best step dad I ever had was black, can you lay off the N word?
I myself made comments to people we knew like: Why do you care about black people at all, there aren't any here. When I searched for a synagogue, all I could find were hate pages.
We kept who we voted for a secret.
The only reason I moved there to begin with was because I figured if Mary Jane lived there, then it couldn't be all ignorance. I never met the others that aren't ignorant. No offense to anyone that lives there. It was just my experience.

We live about an hour away from the stateline. Of course, as you all agree, everyone isn't ignorant or practicing ignorance. But, there does seem to be a few things allowed that wouldn't fly in other places ...
