Okay farmgirls, since some of you have asked . . here are a few pics of our "glamp-site". My daughter, Robin . . aka "birdie71", and I are together for a few days in Arizona, near her home in Phoenix. FOUR DIFFERENT MEN have come by and given us high compliments.

We are using a 10 x 10 EZ-Up canopy with pretty sheets, all kinds of lacy curtains, etc. around the edge of the canopy. We have a tent set up as our "bedroom" . . . those pics will come later. We are layering vintage tablecloths and other linens on the tables and are using lots of vintage doilies, towels, etc.

We have used several rugs in different sizes and colors for our "carpet" under the canopy.

This pic is of my daughter, Robin, in the canopy . . . getting ready to do something famgirl glamper-ish!

Our hatrack and a few of the linens that are over the area that leads to our "bedroom"

"Kitchen" area where we have food, vintage picnic basket (that was one I grew up with), thermos bottles, our retro looking CD player, etc. We have hung aprons, some are vintage, at the top for the added "kitchen" look

The view of a huge saguaro cactus just outside of our "back door". "Boudoir" curtain on the left and apron at the top.

Another view of the "kitchen" out the "back door". We have an apron with HUGE pockets hanging at the corner that holds our clothespins, extension cords, etc.

Our "boudoir" in another corner, with our things for primping, carried there in our "train cases" and we even have our vintage vanity sets.

There will be more . . you have to see our "bedroom", where Mr. Teddy hangs out, where Cock-a-doodle Blue gets to sit, our kitchen/work table and how it looks at night!

Thanks for letting us share!
YOU ARE ALL WELCOME TO COME JOIN US!!!

Oh my gosh! I am just in awe, what a fabulous "girl fort", oh I want to come and play too. I can not wait until you come our way for glamping, I want to stay with you. Wow, I am just speechless, there are not enough words in my vocabulary to tell you how much I love these pictures and what you have done. WOW! WOW!
Will wait anxiously for more pictures.
Continued fun, oh dinner sounded wonderful too.

Clear, sunny, warm . . lovely.
Steel cut oatmeal with mixed berries, apples, walnuts, cinnamon, bit of brown sugar and milk for breakfast.
Fresh oranges, bananas and coffee.
Going out for supper tonight at a local cafe that used to be a stage stop that is supposed to be really good and have really yummy homemade pie.
Yesterday we spent most of the day cropping pictures from our Farmgirls on the Loose Road trip summer to put in our Road Traip memory books. Have lots of pics! Game of Scrabble in the afternoon.
Lots of "memory making" incidents . . . won't get into those details . . :D)
Check back later for more pictures.
THANKS AGAIN!

Here are some shots of our tent "bedroom". It is about 6x6 or so and we have twin air mattresses on either side with a little "night stand" in between them for our little things.

The entrance to the "bedroom".

Come on inside and take a rest.

My bed with "Mr. Teddy" hanging out

Robin's bed with little decorator pillows.

The back of the tent with some lacy curtain accents

And this would be "yours truly" with my favorite poochie friend, Bramble.

Thanks again for letting us share!
Yup, there will be more pics to share tomorrow, so we hope you'll come back and visit.

CJ and Robin, How wonderful that you are able to go clamping this time of the year. I love all the fanciness you did. I would love to do that but I have a hubby that would never put up with that much girly stuff, but look out when I can get my canopy up in the yard!!!! Have fun, eat well, and stay healthy and safe.

Jan . . . I (we) don't do it that way when our hubby's are camping with us. We tell them that we are going "glamping" and they KNOW it's "GIRL CAMPING" and there will be girlie stuff galore!! If hubby's go it's a whole different "animal".
Hope to do it again together the first part of July AND I hope to do some with a couple farmgirl friends later in the summer, late July or early August.

Supper at the Rock Springs Cafe . . .yummy and finished off with homemade Pecan Pie a la mode! OH ME!!! OH MY!!!!

YOU GUYS ARE OVER THE TOP!!!! I know I am not suppose to do that but I just had to! Fabulous...it looks so homey and inviting. A super place to relax. It is just adorable and thanks for inviting me to look...love it. Wish it was warm enough here to glamp but it isn't going to happen anytime soon. We have a date to show off our vintage trailers at Cabela's in late April and that could be iffy too.

Keep the pictures coming....every little detail....that dinner sounded divine!

A few more for this Saturday morning . . HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Our "car" sign which we used on our car for the FOTL ROAD TRIP last summer

The TV tray here is one of a set of two that are truly vintage/retro that used to belong to my in-laws. I told my father-in-law that when they were done with them I wanted them . . I meant sometime in the future. He smiled, packed them right up and gave them to me that very day. Thought that using dresser scarves on them would "glamp" them up a bit.
The very scruffy boots (left lower corner) were some I found at a thrift. They only had the one piece of twine through the lower lace eyes . . . I like them that way because to me the tell a story of someone who REALLY WORKED in them.

Thanks, again, for letting us share.
We have more pics to come . . yup we do! Some of the "farmgirls" who are "on the loose" . . ;D)
Thanks again!

Well, we had Irish skillet casserole of ground beef, potatoes, onions, carrots with mushrooms and lots of yummy seasonings tonight with a little Colorado wine.
It has been windy today and cooler (which is fine) . . .we went thrifting and found some goodies for our "glamping" gear.
Windy night with some rain is predicted and tonight it is gusty enough we took down all our pretties. We don't want it blowing into the next county OR getting wet if it rains.
We are FARMGIRLS!!! We can do it!
In a bit we're gonna have Irish coffee!!
SLAINTE!

I hope the weather wasnt too bad for you last night and that you enjoyed St.Paddy's Day.
Keep the pictures coming!

Just a couple night shots . . . with a lamp and candle jar.
I had hoped to take pics of the night time illuminated canopy but that didn't happen. And, last night the canopy had to come down because it was so windy that, even with concrete cylinder weights, it was going to be taken into orbit and probably ended up in Texas!

More later on our night of rockin' and rollin' . . . still have some more pictures to post.

Snow in Flagstaff is such that the interstate is closed and I'm not headed home today . . so I guess I'll go home with Robin until I can go to my house.

More later!
THANKS AGAIN!
