Michelle and Ashley, thanks so much for the yoyo's I love the fabrics, and the blue one especially, when my daughter walked in and looked, she immediately picked up the blue, and said she loved that fabric. The ATC for July was so awesome. We loved the little song sheet. We have never done one of these ATC, but that might have spurred us on. Thanks again! Have a great summer.

Michelle and Ashley, Thanks so much for the yo-yo's and tuckins. What a neat surprise today..so close to 4th of July! Nope..never enough buttons! Loved the ATC. I think that is the way they were originally made...on playing cards. You all did a great job! Thanks again, farmgirl friends!

Hi My YoYo Mama's. I just heard from Lorrie and she said that she hoped to get her YoYo's out by next
Friday. For myself...she and Debi Chandler are the only ones I haven't received from, but others of you
may still not received from some of the other gals.

When Lorrie wrote to me she said that she had only received from three gals but that was OK. NO...it is
not OK. She should have received from 8 women not just three. So, please check your list and make sure
that you have mailed out to all the Sisters who signed up. Remember that out of the Ten Women who signed
up...we gave Margo (Our Round #7 Hostess) a pass on making them...as her Breast Cancer Chemo is kicking
her back-side. I believe some of us chose to send to her anyway, knowing full well that we wouldn't be
receiving from her. Then the only other person who can slide is yourself (if you chose not to make yourself a set of yoyo's). So, beside those two people...you should have received 8 sets of YoYo's. And you should have sent 8 sets out. Please check yourself...to make sure you have sent all your sets out.

Thanks Ladies!

blessings,
Peggy

PeggyAnn--who did Lorrie receive from? I sent all of mine, but would be glad to mail to her again, if she did not receive mine. I make extra sets when I do each yoyo swap. Farmgirl #946 Linda

gals; i am so sorry that i have not been on top of this swap as hostess...i guess i thought i could handle it --and i so much appreciate every one of you who has jumped in to keep track and sending emails etc...and i love the yo yo's that i have received.

as peggy mentioned- my chemo is kicking my butt as well as finally getting back to work( to preserve sanity as well as pay rent and have money with which to swap!!!!!!) and we moved almost two weeks ago--my sweetie has become less and less able to care for himself so i am not only caregiver for him but for self...you all sustain me!!!!

i know that judith-forgetmenot-had postponed round 8 and i certainly hope that we all get our acts back together to swap in farmsister style!

i just wanted to chime in and say thank you to all of you for being here! and for not getting nasty as some swappers can be!!!!!!

Hi Margo...good to hear from you girl. Sorry you are having such a struggle with your therapy,
but I have heard from my mom and others that it really does a number on you. We keep praying for
a full recovery for you...know matter what it takes. You Are So Special To Us!!!

Linda...I did email Lorrie and told her we wanted to make sure that she got all of her yoyo's too,
so to please send me a list of the three women she received from...so, we could make sure she got
from all of us. She hasn't answered yet. I still plan to send you yours...the problem is all my
crafting stuff is packed up for my move. So, mine will be a month or so down the road. I just
hope everyone else got theirs from me. If you didn't girls...please let me know...as I sent all mine
a long time ago. It kind of bugs me that even one got lost in the mail because of the neat extra tuck I made with the Australian Sterling Silver Vintage Button. Grrrr!!!

Anyway, that is all I know for now girls. Hope you had a great Fourth of July!!!!

blessings,
peggy

I have sent all mine out (all went out by the end of May), but have not heard if Debi, Shelly, Lorrie, or Michelle and Ashley have received them. Please let me know if you did not get them. I will resend.

I mailed out to everyone! I see that only some people posted that they recieved from me. If you did not get any from me please send me a personal record with your address and I will resend some. I always throw away my lists after I complete them otherwise I get confused and things get messed up. I know that some people dont follow through but please dont automatically assume we are all the same. Things do happen everyday with post office packages.

Hey Peggy, thanks, glad mine got there, and yes the post office is a mess. My 2 cousins work there, and they say, so many have been early retired or laid off, they are so short handed. I just wanted to post whom I have received from: Julie, Judith, Lainey, Michelle, I excuse Margo, she is in my prayers, and one lost in transit, and mine, so I believe that leaves 2 that I have not received from. All is well--ready for the August one. Been working on them. Little slower by the time I do my day, seems the chair after bath is calling me, to relax,(haha), seems even my hands are heavy with my eyes. But I am getting them done. Its so hot, don't want to complain cause every state is having their problems, and least not like the drought last year, we have had some rain. I have 4 sets of baby chicks with mamas and they are so cute. I am presently looking for calves, but they are so high cause of the drought last year, not enough hay. Looking for them to come down. Hope all had a Happy 4th!! Have a great weekend! Got all my mowing done this morning took me about 31/2 hours to mow 7 acres, just did not have to do the pastures today. Farmgirl #946 Linda

Hello Ladies,

Well, I pulled all my Post Office receipts to make sure I had mailed all of them and I have. So here is the info I have:
Julie Coates mailed on 4/18/'12 to Lasalle, Co.
Judith mailed on 4/27 to Nora,IA.
Peggy Smith mailed on 5/8 to Vancouver, Wa.
Linda Rogers mailed on 5/21 to Montgomery, Tx.
Margo mailed on 5/31 to Elyria, Oh.

If I am understanding all of you seem to have gotten yours alright.

The following were sent on 5/31 and I don't know if they have been recvd. yet. The Postal bill# for all of them is #1000402338809.
Lorrie Crumpler in Newport, Wa.
Debi Chandler in Danielville, Ga.
Shelly Hanline in Mt. Pleasant, Mi.
Michelle Cox and Ashley in Port Hueneme, Ca.

If y'all will let me know what's up I'd appreciate it and if you haven't gotten yours I will make some more and send them to you - although they may not all be patriotic in nature because I am not sure I had left overs in all the materials - but will make do and get some to ya as I don't want any one shorted.

I have not recv'd. from Lorrie, Debi, Shelly, or Michelle, and of course Margo, but she is doing all she can with what she is doing so we will catch her next time. Be well Margo you are in my prayers.

I am really looking forward to the next swap and all ready have most of them done depending on whether or not the people stay the same or more or added.

This is the only swap I have had problems with so hope we can get it straightened out and get busy on the next one.

Hope every one had a good 4th of July and is doing well. Today is my baby boy's birthday, he is 33 - boy time sure does fly.

Farmgirl Hugzz,
Lainey Lou #3848

Thank you, Lorrie, I received your yo-you's today! It's always a good, smiley day when we get those! Especially liked that red, white, blue plaid. Have never seen that before! Thanks, too for the Pretzel Jello Salad recipe. Sounds so refreshing on these hot days!

Hello Lorrie, I too received your yoyo's today, what a great job you did! Thanks for following thru, no matter how late. I also, love the plaid, that is a really neat piece of material. Thanks again.
Have a great week, we are getting lotz of rain, which is great, will not fuss, last year we had the drought and fire. And gonna do the Jello Salad maybe tomorrow, since I will be house bound, cause the weatherman says that it is gonna rain again. Farmgirl Huggs! #946 Linda

hey gals! just wanted to let you all know that i received a wonderful envelope last nite and when i opened it imagine my dismay to find it empty! appeared to have been sliced open on teh other end or the contents worked their way out --it went thru it's originating post office as well at the one where i lived an dthe one where i live now...

so--i have emailed the gal who sent it--so thoughtful to have been remembered but disappointed at an empty envelope! we need to be more careful when we pack i guess!

also i want to remind you all that i moved-so email me for address change if you don't have it! i'll make sure judith has it for the next round....

Hi YoYo Mamas...I had the same thing happen with the last yoyo's I recieved...but, PTL the YoYo's were
still inside...so, I didn't even mention it. BUT remember, always check the glue on your envelope...as
card envelopes age on the store shelves or your shelves the glue often starts going bad. I think we should
always tape our envelopes when we are putting something as bulky as yoyo's in them. The seams of the envelopes can go bad too...so, be very in-tuned to that. We probably should also, always write "Please
Hand Stamp" on them so they don't try running them through their machines at the Post Office. Just some suggestions.

Blessings,
peggy

peg-it was the opposite end of the 5X7ish envelope- not the glue end- i don't know if it was slashed or just simply didn't survive the machines!

and to think taht it went thru her post office as well a steh one where i used to live and now live so goodness knows where they landed!!! poo

i agree that we truly need to write on the envelopes to please hand cancel! on both sides of teh envelope-gosh we take such care to create our lovelies!!!!!

anyhow my post was more to help in future i hope- tho i mourned not receiveing teh goodies! have heard from the gal whose envelope it was..we're good!
