As the Month of May is drawing to a close, I wanted to jump up and "crow" from the roof tops. . . .
 Congratulations Marsha!!!!!!
Nothing has made me happier than seeing you picked as FGOM. Since we first became farmgirls, you have always led the way. You tried different things and encouraged all of us to do the same. You shared recipes, tips and tricks too. Took part in countless swaps, which have been so much fun. You worked hard on your merit badges and continue to do so. You jumped in to help any farmgirl in need and always have a kind word to lift someone up on a tough day.
I think more than anything else, you truly sum up what it is be be a farmgirl. . . You are generous in spirit and always giving of yourself selflessly. You are there when you are needed and even when your not. A true blue farmgirl who can plow on through even the most challenging of situations and still come out on top with a smile and a kind word. You truly deserved this honor and I hope you have enjoyed your moment in the sun!!
I know you have forever changed my life in such a positive way. It is an honor and a privilege not only to be a part of the farmgirl sisterhood with you, it is also an honor and privilege to call you my friend.
Once more, Congratulations Marsha on being chosen FGOM for May 2018!!!

What a treat to come on today and see so many of my long time farm girl friends "crowing" as Joanna put it about how they feel about me. You all have made my heart swell with joy and eyes fill with tears of gratitude. There is a long time saying:
"Actions speak louder than words"!
The actions of heartfelt love and appreciation from the farm girls that I have had the pleasure to get to know over the years shows that my random acts of kindness where rewarded just as Jesus said they would be. There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.
I never tire of being a listening ear to a friend in need. I never tire of sending a gift in the mail to lift the spirits of a friend I have not heard from in a while. That's always a clue that something is off track in their lives.
But, I have to admit. I love it when I am surprised by a little RAOK in my mailbox. I don't celebrate the holidays and when a farm girl that knows that thinks of me at other times of the year that just warms my heart.
Every action I make is from my heart and out of love for my fellow farm girl. If you ever receive something in the mail from me know that it comes from a very loving and giving heart.
I am truly thankful for being picked FGOM May 2018.
Yes, Denise I have already come up with my little way of giving back to my dear farmgirl friends who took the time to make my month Special.

This was such a fun month for me. I missed having MaryJane be a part of my special month. But, I understand she needed to take time off. We all need a good rest now and again.
I have scoured the forum looking for a sister and true blue farmgirl at heart.

Marsha, I like your idea of a list of FGOTM in MJF. I think it might be a great addition to our online Sisterhood magazine that comes out every two months too. Either format would be fun to have and a great way for everyone to see who was selected. Kinda like the listing of merit badge earners that is in the online addition.
