This past weekend, I was able to attend a most amazing eye opening conference. It was heart breaking and moving, but challenging us to remember that we truly can change the world. As individuals, we can change it in our own neighborhoods and help out where we can, but when we team up with each other, can you just imagine the impact on our hurting world?
I wrote a little blog post about the conference entitled Justice is a Garment, Love is a Thread. Over the next few weeks, I'm hoping to put up a few more. Let me know your thoughts, ideas.
I know that the women on this board are filled with love and creativity so I thought I'd start here.

Oh Wendy, This post touched me SO much..SO deeply. It moved my heart. I wanted to copy it. It made me cry. The photo is just glorious. There is so much to be done in the world..in my home, my family, my neighborhood, my country, my world..like a pebble dropped in the water makes circle after circle.
And THEN it dawned on me..I know this face..this name..those 2 boys on your blog..you are my soon to be PENPAL! How wonderful! Your words always touch me. I have written down the quote of Justice and Love. Thank you for this. I am going to LOVE writing to you..SOON, I promise. Joey

Aw Joey...you are so sweet to me. I keep meaning to get a letter off to you and it just hasn't happened yet. (I'm behind with my other penpals right now also, but I'm working on it)
