Boy has life been hectic! I thought I'd get to be around here a bit more as of late, but I guess it's not meant to be for the most part. I do have a 4 day weekend, so maybe I can come and try to catch up a bit.

School started, so I'm back to work full-time, and I'm still working at Target 2 nights a week from 10pm-2am. Football, cheerleading, church youth activities, worship team practice, PTA, tutoring, and soon to be Brownie scouts and dance classes....pretty much takes up most of my time.

As much as we love having the acre lot, the home we're living in is not the healthiest place for our son who has major allergies (especially now that rainy season has kicked in, I think there's some mold due to the moisture), so we're looking for a new/almost new house in a regular subdivision. So we're going to be packing stuff up the next few weeks to get ready to move out at the end of the month. There seem to be several places around the area for rent right now, so it's prime time to do it, plus our lease is up...perfect timing!

Once we get moved and settled in, I plan to really start doing more in the way of container gardening on the lanai, along with more sewing and cooking projects. Our place is so small now, with no storage space, I've had a hard time getting organized enough to do anything creative here and have felt stifled because of the house (even though the yard has been great). I can't wait to get moved and settled, it will be just in time to really start planning for the holidays. (Which reminds me, I found a cute little sewing maching I want to get for Elisabeth so she can start learning to sew!)

That's about it here. I'm still alive, just superduper busy! It's great to know you gals are still here to read about what's up "down on the farm"....it's like coming home for a little minivacation.
