I have had so much fun hosting my last two swaps, I have decided to host another swap. I searched through older swaps and came across this one. I emailed and asked permission to use this swap and she agreed. Here is her explanation:
I am born and raised in Michigan and I don't plan to live any place else -- and with the state of the economy, I think that's quite a commitment! I'm proud of my state -- from the fall apples, to the unique beauty of the Petosky stone to our huge amount of lighthouses and more -- it's an awesome place. I'm sure you have the same kind of love for the state you call home.
Let's partner up and swap boxes that contain goodies from our state, photos, crafts and even stories. The possibilities are endless (they always are!). How about a $15 limit.
Please sign up by March 1st, and plan to mail out packages March 10th.
Please email me your name and mailing address so I can get you on the list.

As much as i'd love to do this swap, I have to restrain myself. I did just want to say that I did the first state pride swap and it was fun! It's fun learning more about the other states, but it is also fun learning about my state too! Doing this swap gave me a new apreciation for Wisconsin!

Still plenty of time to sign up for this swap. Please keep in mind that it is not required that you spend $15. I don't know about other states but you can find a lot of cool brochures, booklets, calendars and other Michigan related items for free!!!! Stop at your local welcome centers and grab some interesting brochures. (The ladies can then recycle them into something neat!) I would also suggest printing off a cool story about your state that you can find on the internet. I know a lot of swaps are going on right now just remember it is the thought that counts not your wallet!
