.....i love the mj magazine, but every once in a while i HAVE to get out my old favs, the early magazines.
is there any way they could be reprinted as a book. i loved them, especially the one on the working hands. the photography was beautiful,,,and i am married to the worlds greatest photographer,,,or at least thats what i tell him!
seriously couldnt we at least have a feature......Looking back....where parts of the old magazine are featured in the new one.
just wonderin.....

I would love that Frannie, especially since I'm new and missed all those early magazines.

that is another great point, sharon. i will never forget the day i found the magazine! it was beautiful and refreshing and i felt that i had found a truly kindred spirit. now i know a thing about beautiful magazines, victoria, country living, martha stewart, and on and on, i am magazine poor!!!!!!!
i think the newer members should see this work for themselves as well....of course it took me a while but i think the other good way to understand mj's philosophy is to read her books. they arereally interesting....and beautiful as well.

Oh Frannie - I feel the same way about the early magazines. I pull them out when I am feeling particularly disconnected from the way I want my life to be and they are such inspiration. I particularly love the articles about MaryJane's parents and Emil Keck - and the pictures - and, and....
And the fact that they didn't come out on a regular schedule made them extra special too. I will cherish mine always!

Being new to MJF I would love to be able to have some of the first issues, or at least be able to read articles from some of them. I have be a devoted subscriber to Country mag. since it's first issue, this year is 25th for them and they are putting out a special 25th. book. I would love for MJF to do the same only now. Whow what a great idea I'd love to see it especially since I just receiving the magazine and have read the ink off the pages waiting for the next one. Thanks for placing the idea I hope they like it too.
