I'd like to purchase a good tiller and quite frankly I am a bit flummoxed! What is your favorite tiller? My garden is not built yet and will be something like 60x50. I'm going to start with square footage gardening this year. All your advice helps!!!!

Ours is a Husqvarna and it is AWESOME. I don't know the size right off, it is a larger one though. It's quite easy to use and works well. We've not had any problems with it so far--this will be our 3rd year using it. DH used it for about 1/4 acre field right after we got it and no problems. I have a Massey Ferguson small gardening tractor. My roto tiller on it is only 3 ft. wide I think. But it does the trick. But I would love a bigger tractor with a bigger tiller on it. We went looking at new Massey Fergusons not long ago. My husband is a die hard Massey Ferguson man. He has 2 older ones. A 1979 and a 1994. I'm not sure what year my is. Anyways he seems to think they are the best and saids they are easy to work on when a part needs replaced. He also likes all the implements. Tillers , mowers, graders, ect.

We have a TroyBilt tiller and it is a workhorse. I don't recall the size or horsepower of the engine but it works well for us and we plant a big garden. We also loan it to our neighbor to till his garden. CJ
