I'm cleaning my fridge (one day at a time) and realize I need better storage solutions for bags of rice, polenta, wheat flour etc. I used glass jars before, but the metal lids would rust. I really don't want to use plastic either. Do you have suggestions (economical ones)?

In the "Miles Kimball" catalog I order Sugar and Flour Keepers that store up to a 5 lb. bag. I love them. I keep them in the refrigerator. But, they are plastic. But, I put the whole flour or sugar bag in the container, I don't dump the flour or sugar in the container.

I see that Pyrex and other companies also make glass containers with plastic lids. They are not real cheap, but may help me organize my grains that I have to put in the fridge too.
